Event Location

The location is an accredited camp, located close to the Great Ocean Road and adjacent to the Great Otway National Park, Port Campbell National Park, the Southern Ocean, and the Gellibrand River.

Full details of location will be sent to participants once their place is confirmed. Should participants require travel assistance, please contact the organisers on awcvictoria2022@gmail.com with details. Depending on need, options may include car share or a shuttle service on a user-pays basis.

Fees & Accommodation

$320 per person (for AWC Inc members) Friday night to Sunday lunchtime.

$330 per person Friday night to Sunday lunchtime.

$40 per person (accommodation only) for Sunday night.

Participation includes dinner Friday night, three meals Saturday, two meals Sunday, plus morning and afternoon tea (homemade slices – Anzacs, chocolate slice, jam slice etc., and cake – chocolate, apple, plain etc.), and supper. Tea/coffee and a range of seasonal fresh fruit is freely available all day.

Ticket price includes attendance at workshops and rituals. Some workshops may incur a fee to cover the cost of materials/indigenous presenters, details will be included in the program if applicable. 

There is an option for participants to stay on for Sunday night at a cost of $40 per person, which does not include meals.

Babies and toddlers (up to three years of age) are free of charge.

Accommodation is bunk beds in a shared room, with shower facilities located near to all rooms. There is accommodation available for people with a disability: rooms of up to six beds with en suite bathroom facilities. Please tick the relevant box on the application form if you require a bed in one of these rooms. Accommodation does not include bedding or towels, but arrangements can be made for those travelling without a car.

Limited camping is available on a first come, first served basis. Please indicate the type of camping on the application form.

Market Stalls

Participants are welcome to apply to have a market stall at the AWC 2022. There are no fees, but all market stallholders will be asked to provide a quality item for the AWC raffle. For more information about arrangements, please contact awcvictoria2022@gmail.com – all stalls and merchandise are the responsibility of the stallholder.

Key Dates

Final payments are due by 31 July 2022.

All payments are to be made via the tickets and registration page.

Cancellations made before 30 June will be refunded in full, cancellations made before 31 July will be refunded 75% of the total; cancellations made before 31 August will be refunded 50% of the total; cancellations made after 31 August will not be refunded. Non-attendance at the event is non-refundable. All refunds will be less any fees imposed by PayPal.
