AWC Scholarships

This year, there are two different scholarships on offer to help more people experience an AWC.

AWC inc Applegrove Scholarship

The Applegrove Scholarship was seeded with funds left over from the 2017 Australian Wiccan Conference and named after Applegrove, the Sydney based hosting group. The funds were given to AWC Inc with the request they would be used to cover the cost of a ticket for one person to future Australian Wiccan Conferences.

To be eligible to apply, you must be:

  • a full or associate member of AWC Inc (you can join on our Membership page);
  • available to attend the conference from the 16th-18th of September;
  • able to travel to and from the conference (no financial assistance is covered in the scholarship for this); and
  • 18 years or older by the start of the conference.

Applications for the Applegrove scholarship closed on the 9th of April 2022.

AWC 2022 Organisers’ Scholarship

The AWC 2022 organisers have allocated two complimentary places and invite applications under the following terms. Applicants:

  • have not previously attended an Australian Wiccan Conference;
  • are over the age of 18 at the time of the Conference;
  • possess a Health Care card or are students in full-time education; and
  • are willing to assist the organisers in a voluntary capacity to check-in participants on Friday 16 September.

Applications for the AWC 2022 Organisers’ scholarship closed on the 30th of April 2022.
